NSF International offers this free webinar to provide further detail on the development processes for sustainability standards, Product Category Rules, and Environmental Product Declarations and their potential applications in the water industry.  

Sustainability standards provide a multi-attribute approach to the assessment of product sustainability over the product’s life cycle. Product Category Rules (PCRs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) offer a science-based standard to communicate a product’s environmental impact from cradle to grave.  Based on data derived from life cycle analysis (LCA), EPDs are recognized globally as a preferred reporting tool.  

The webinar will explain how sustainability standards, PCRs, and EPDs enhance transparency about water industry products in the green marketplace.
