Subject : Do not see the relevancy of hardness for residential influent Category : N/A Comment While I see the relevancy for most of the adjustments to chemical characteristics of the prepared influent in the case of graywater, I do not understand the requirement for residential wastewater. Since there are no effluent criteria required that appear connected with influent hardness, I believe that hardness influent critera for residential wastewater systems treating combined blackwater and graywater should not be required. Since our facility is in the midst of a test under 350, I abstain from a vote on this item. Proposal I believe that the hardness requirement should be deleted from the requirement for systems treating combined graywater/blackwater under residential setting.
