Title Straw ballot for TG on Mineral Oil Applications
Description
The DWA Task Group on Mineral Oils is requesting input from the Joint Committee on the following questions. Please review the full memo attached under the reference documents and provide responses as comments in the “straw ballot” issued with this paper.

1. Should NSF/ANSI 60 contain a microbiological growth potential test for well applications, specifically drip oils?

2. If the Joint Committee feels that NSF/ANSI 60 should keep the microbial requirement for well application products, can the criteria change from pass/fail to a product literature requirement?

3. If the requirement is needed and is to be determined through testing, should the test be to a “no growth” requirement or to a maximum allowable AOC requirement?

This straw ballot will be open for comment for two weeks. In order to record your vote, comments are required.
