The vice chair's duties include to function as the Chair of the meeting in the absence of the Chairperson. See NSF Standard development and policies 2009 in the reference items for more information.
Only JC members may vote on this ballot. Majority vote will decide who the new Vice Chair will be and he preside over the August 16th meeting (due to Chairperson's conflict).
