Purpose
The purpose of this ballot is to revise the language to meet the original intent of the standard and require MSDS/SDS level of disclosure. In addition, the intent is to create a consistent definition for chemicals of concern.
Background
Joint Committee meetings with stakeholders for various interest categories developed this Standard and it was published in August of 2012. This revision ballot incorporates issue papers submitted to propose changes to Section 5.3.1.1, 5.3.1.2, 5.4.1, and 5.4.2.
Issues:
Changes to the standard for this revision are based on Issue Paper 1 and 2. This section was discussed during the Joint Committee Meeting on September 25, 2013.
The Issue Papers and the meeting summary for this ballot are available for your review. The sections available for ballot and comment are included in the ballot document. Three vertical dots indicate that section has been excluded from consideration in this ballot because these sections have not had any proposals for change to the language. The proposed additions are shown using grey highlight, and deletions are shown through strikethrough. |
