The proposed revision is to correct the following errors that have been found in NSF/ANSI 53:
- The filter media test was removed from NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 in 2011. Section 6.13 was inadvertently left in NSF/ANSI 53.
- Under section 7.3.3 Turbidity Reduction Challenge, section 7.3.3.1.2 was inadvertently left in NSF/ANSI 53 when the test dust option for cyst reduction was removed in 1999. |
