A slight modification is being proposed to the recently approved ballot 223i2r1- travel restrictions for on-site audits. This revision added language under section 5.2.7 of NSF/ANSI 223 to include measures that are to be taken when an annual on-site audit is not done due to unsafe conditions such as those determined by a U.S. State Department issued travel restriction. There was a suggestion voiced by 2 CPHC members to add language to make it very clear that the maximum suspension time is 3 years, but that the actual suspension time could be much less. The Task Group on Conformity Assessment supports this clarification. |
