Title Approval of 60i60r1 - bromate
Description
The proposed revision will adjust the Single Product Acceptable Concentration (SPAC) for bromate from 0.005 to 0.0033 mg/L under Table D1 and section 6.3.2 for hypochlorite treatment chemicals. This ballot also includes a recommendation to remove the current literature requirement for when the MUL has been lowered under section 6.3.2, clarifies the manufacturer’s use instructions under section 6.3.3, and removes the reference to Annex G.
