The PCR Committee on BIFMA Seating has completed the revisions to BIFMA PCR for Seating: UNCPC 3811 and the final PCR (BIFMA PCR for Seating: UNCPC 3811 Version 3) has been recommended for ballot. Purpose:
These product category rules shall be used in preparing an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for seating products.
Background:
PCR Committee meetings with stakeholders for various interest categories developed this PCR and it was published on May 31, 2012. This revision ballot is to accept the final version of BIFMA PCR for Seating: UNCPC 3811 Version 3.
Issues:
Changes to the PCR for this ballot are based on proposed changes submitted during the public comment period and revisions suggested during the PCR committee meetings. Revisions to the BIFMA Storage PCR were also incorporated into the BIFMA PCR for Seating: UNCPC 3811 Version 3, in order to promote consistency.
