Purpose
This issue paper is to recommend the removal of section 5.3.1.
Background
The content of section 5.3.1 was essentially a repeat of what was in section 5.3.1.1 of NSF/ANSI 342-2012. Section 5.3.1.1 has since been balloted to change the language making it inconsistent with 5.3.1. The language balloted for 5.3.1.1 includes the inventory information as approved by the JC and leaving in section 5.3.1 allows additional points for almost the same activity.

and comment are included in the ballot document.
