The proposed revision will update NSF/ANSI 330 to ensure that the terms defined therein are consistent with their intended use in each of DWTU standards. Revision 3 addresses the comments received from the revision 2 ballot to include the definition of maximum acceptable concentration (MAC). MAC is referenced in the DWTU standards under Section 4 Material Safety, and is used in section 6.10 of NSF/ANSI 42 and 53. This will replace the definition of MCC, as it is not actually used in section 4 as stated or anywhere else in the DWTU standards. The reference to MAC has also been added to the definition of health hazards (3.79).
This two-week adjudication ballot also addresses any unresolved negative comments that were received during the first ballot.
This ballot allows voters the opportunity to respond, change or reaffirm their vote based on the content of the comments contained herein.
Voting options:
1. Affirmative: you are voting to accept the ballot document as it stands after your consideration of the revised draft (revision 3) and any unresolved negative comments.
2. Negative: You are voting to reject the ballot document as it stands after your consideration of the revised draft (revision 3) and any unresolved negative comments. Voters who change an affirmative to a negative shall cite the unresolved negative comment that caused their decision.
3. Abstain: You do not feel that you have sufficient information to make an informed decision on this issue.
Please note that if you do not return a vote in this revised/adjudication ballot, your original vote will remain in effect.
At the close of this adjudication ballot, all results will be tallied to determine if the requirements for consensus have been satisfied. |
