A two week straw ballot for NSF/ANSI 40 issue 29 is being forwarded to the Joint Committee for consideration on behalf of Steve Williams and Paul Westmaas. Please review the changes proposed to this standard and submit your ballot by March 11, 2016 via the NSF Online Workspace.
Purpose
This proposal adds language to NSF/ANSI 40, Section 5 (Design and construction) and Section 8 (Performance testing and evaluation) for the purpose of evaluating manufacturer claims for air blowers. Note that this language is also applicable to, and should be considered for addition to, NSF/ANSI 245 and NSF/ANSI 350. The numbering for this straw ballot is based on NSF/ANSI 40 section numbering. |
