Dear NSF 457 JC Members:
In order to formally approve the preliminary draft document as a starting point, including the revisions that were made during the meeting, we are having an electronic vote (straw ballot). As a reminder, this is a starting point document only, and all criteria and text is open for revision.
Please respond to the electronic vote (straw ballot) by Monday, March 21st. There are two questions included. Please be sure to vote on both straw ballots:

1) Do you approve the preliminary draft document that was motioned for approval during the February 18th and 19th meeting, including the revisions that were made during the meetings? (see attached document NSF 457 PV Module Preliminary Draft Standard 160219.docx)
2) Do you approve the reorganization of the preliminary draft document, and renumbering of criteria, to align with the JC request to reorganize the standard to reflect the product life cycle and task groups? (see attached document NSF 457 PV Module Preliminary Draft Standard 160307.docx) Note that this question is only to reorganize/renumber the document (see the Outline document for ease of reference). It assumes approval of question #1, and therefore, acceptance of all the changes. We are doing this as a two-step process so that JC members can refer to the Meeting Summary and any documents/notes from the meeting as reference, if needed, when responding to question #1.
