Purpose
The purpose of this ballot is to revise Annex H to remove the quality control section.
Background
It was recommended to the Ozone Task Group to remove the internal lab quality control requirements from the annex. Exempt disinfection efficacy testing for ozone generates that have passed crypto validation. This was also recommended for UV equipment.
This issue was originally motioned to ballot during the 2014 RWF Joint Committee meeting but was never completed. It is thus being taken to ballot now to update NSF/ANSI 50 – 2016. The original issue paper with the recommendation to update language in the section is included in the reference documents of this ballot. |
