As you all know we have a Definitions standard (455-1) that will have definitions that appear in more than one of the 455 standards but that each standard will have definitions that only appear in their standard and therefore will be defined in their standard and not in 455-1.
In the Definitions TG meetings, active ingredient and botanical ingredient were terms identified and defined for your standard only. In the course of editing our standard, both of these terms have been removed. I will remove them from the definitions list unless there is anyone who can give me a reason to keep them in this standard.
Lastly, I have attached the latest Definitions standard (455-1). Please note that the Definitions TG have multiple meetings coming up to discuss the definitions but I wanted to open it to you to see if there are any additional terms you want to see in 455-1 or your standard. |
