Definitions for UV dose, Class A system, and Class B system are being revised under NSF/ANSI 330 to reflect the revised scope of NSF/ANSI 55 to include UV systems that operate across a broader range of wavelengths (240 nm to 300 nm).
Revision 2 addresses comments received on the r1 ballot to include an additional description under the Class B system definition that it also applies to systems demonstrating a “2.14 log reduction at 100% output” to be consistent with the revision under NSF/ANSI 55. |
