Proposed revisions to NSF/ANSI 42 – Drinking Water Treatment Units - Aesthetic Effects (42i111r1) and NSF/ANSI 53 – Drinking Water Treatment Units - Health Effects (53i129r1)
The proposed revision will specify that tannic acid be used per Annex N-6 (Annex N-7 in NSF/ANSI 53) to achieve a consistent level of TOC in the starting test water when it can’t be achieved from the natural water. |
