Diethylene glycol (DEG) is a suspected contaminant of glycerin.  FDA is recommending that pharmaceutical manufacturers screen for diethylene glycol contamination in glycerin supplies.  Glycerin is also used as an excipient in dietary supplements.  Changes are the highlighted text.
