The proposed revision will revise the chloramine reduction test in NSF/ANSI 42 from a maximum effluent concentration (0.5 mg/L) to a percent reduction (≥ 80%). REVISION 2 incorporates comments received from the previous ballot to clarify that the pass/fail criteria pertains to each sampling point and adds the revised reduction requirement to the literature requirements under section 8. |
