Proposed revision to NSF/ANSI/CAN 600 – Health Effects and Evaluation Criteria for Chemicals in Drinking Water (600i6r1)
An informative annex (I-2) has been developed to outline the prioritization scheme and processes certifying bodies will use to reevaluate chemical risk assessments subject of NSF/ANSI/CAN 600 drinking water criteria.
It should be noted that this is an informative annex only and does not contain requirements necessary for conformance to NSF/ANSI/CAN 600. However, the issue proponents believe it would be beneficial to submit this proposal in accordance with ANSI’s requirements and be subjected to a public review and consensus-based process through the Joint Committee and is therefore being balloted as such. |
