Proposed revision to NSF/ANSI 455-2 – Good Manufacturing Practices for Dietary Supplements (455-2i29r2)
The proposed revision will remove Section 4.3.1 and add language to Section 4.3.5 to emphasize the requirement for specifications at any point, step, or stage where control is necessary to ensure the quality of the dietary supplement. The “hazard analysis” portion should be a possibility to establish this element, but is not a requirement.
