NSF/ANSI 62: Drinking Water Distillation Systems (62i47r1)
An issue paper (see Referenced Items) noted that the maximum effluent values for fluoride in the DWTU standards do not match the most recent maximum contaminant levels in NSF/ANSI/CAN 600: Health Effects Evaluation and Criteria for Chemicals in Drinking Water.
The proposed language updates the fluoride maximum effluent values in NSF/ANSI 53, 58, and 62 from 1.5 mg/L to 1.0 mg/L to be consistent with NSF/ANSI/CAN 600. |
