The proposed revision will amend NSF/ANSI 173-2021 to align with a 2012 Proposition 65 settlement and consent judgement (see https://oag.ca.gov/prop65/60-day-notice-2011-00323) between 30 GOED members and plaintiffs who filed a lawsuit alleging that fish oil manufacturers and retailers caused consumers to be exposed to polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) without giving Proposition 65 warnings. |
