This is a straw ballot that will serve two purposes. The first is to collect comments on the suggested changes. The other is to determine if we should keep years in the referenced documents. As discussed in the JC meeting if there is a date or edition number in the referenced document that is the specific document being referenced even if a new edition is published. This makes it difficult to remain up to date with the publications and section 2 of this standard. There are cases though that the specific edition must be called out. Please take this time to vote if you want to remove all publication/edition dates/numbers, keep all publication/edition dates/numbers, or keep only certain publication/edition dates/numbers. If you vote for the the last option you MUST submit a list of those references you want to keep their publication/edition dates/numbers. |
