Proposed revision to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 – Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects (61i185r1)
The proposed revision will add Informative Annex 2 to harmonize acceptance criteria for test reports.
Note that the addition of Informative Annex 2 is not part of the American National Standard (ANS) and does not contain requirements necessary for conformance to NSF/ANSI/CAN 60. Therefore, it does not need to be processed in accordance with ANSI’s requirements
for an ANS, including public review and consensus requirements. However, a straw ballot is being submitted to provide JC members with the opportunity to review and provide any feedback prior to its publication.
