The currently proposed new langauge seems awkward to me. I'm voting affirmative because I agree with the intent but would prefer more clarity. The language states:
Alternate inflow measurement methods shall only be used for any or all of the following reasons:
the space between the base of the DIM and permanent fixture directly opposite the access opening is a minimum 6 in (150 mm);
If I'm reading this as a field certifier, I'm wondering which way the cut off goes. It would be clearer if it stated:
the space between the base of the DIM and permanent fixture directly opposite the access opening is less than 6 in (150 mm);
