    The PFAS final rule was published today, April 26, in the Federal Register!

    This kicks off the federal enforcement timeline (rule becomes law 6/25/24, federal compliance for products is effective June 2027*, federal compliance for public water systems is June 2029):

    *Federal government compliance, not certification compliance which is TBD and outside the Standards team scope.
